Anniversary celebration set for November 9 beginning at 5 p.m.

ATLANTA, Ga. (September 27, 2017) – Since 1992, The Tavern at Phipps has become a Buckhead tradition with over five million estimated to have walked through its left-revolving door. Guests are invited to help celebrate the restaurant’s silver anniversary November 9, beginning at 5 p.m. Hosted by Atlanta’s “best bartenders” (Jezebel Magazine 2016 & 2017), the evening will feature plenty of dancing, live music and lots of The Tavern’s signature napkins in the air.

“From the very beginning, we wanted to create a place where ladies and gentlemen could meet in a lively environment for good food and a great value,” said Operating Partner of The Tavern at Phipps Alex Zengotita. “Today, The Tavern at Phipps is a unique fixture in Atlanta known as much for its generous hospitality as its broad menu and bar selections.”

The Tavern is full of traditions that place it in a category of its own within the vast Atlanta dining scene. Unique features like a quirky London-imported front door, more than 250 glasses broken behind the bar each week (in the name of flair!), famous happy hours with flowing cocktails, bustling atmosphere and the best looking wait staff have made The Tavern at Phipps a go-to spot for any night out. The classic American fare including hearty salads, premium, over-the-top pastrami sandwiches and trademark Tavern chips (a heaping pile of sharable, crisp tortilla chips layered with an endless choice of toppings) keep guests coming back for more.

The Tavern at Phipps is located at 3500 Peachtree Road and is open daily at 11:00 a.m., 365 days a year. Parking is available throughout Phipps Plaza. For more information, call 404-814-9640 or visit www.tavernatphipps.com.

#PinkKiss for the Cure

Company-wide “Pink Kiss for the Cure” campaign expected to reach goal in seventh annual event.

Atlanta, Ga. (September 26, 2017) For a seventh straight year, CentraArchy Restaurants continues its commitment to National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its own “Pink Kiss for the Cure” campaign. Each year, all 19 CentraArchy restaurants offer a limited edition Pink Kiss martini with 50 percent of the sales going directly to a breast cancer research and care organization. This year’s campaign contributions will go to the Susan G. Komen organization—specifically to fund breast cancer research and mammogram costs for the underserved locally.

“When we began Pink Kiss for the Cure seven years ago, the $100,000 goal set for ourselves seemed far away,” said CentraArchy vice president and COO George Ogorek. “As we pass this milestone, we hope our guests will once again join our associates this month in finding ways to raise community awareness and funding to fight a disease that continues to affect so many of our loved ones.”

To participate, guests simply order the “Pink Kiss” at any CentraArchy Restaurant (New York Prime, California Dreaming, The Tavern at Phipps, Chophouse New Orleans, Carolina Roadhouse, Joey D’s Oak Room, Chophouse ’47, Gulfstream Café or Burro Loco). Proceeds this year will help Susan G. Komen in its work to fund research, education and preventative care. Complimentary pink golf tees will also be offered at New York Prime and Chophouse ‘47 during the campaign. Guests are encouraged to share their photo-worthy images on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #PinkKiss.

9 Totally Outrageous Bar Snacks to Try in Atlanta

Thai Chicken Chips at The Tavern at Phipps

The Tavern at Phipps has an entire menu dedicated to its Tavern chips, a themed (Cajun, Chinese, Southwestern, etc.) heaping portion of tortilla chips covered with toppings. We’re partial to the Thai chicken, topped with grilled chicken, melted cheese, peanut sauce, scallions, cilantro, bean sprouts and sweet peppers. It’s a weird, East-meets-Southwest combination of flavors that’s surprisingly addictive.
